Applying Collective Technology
(ACT) on Solar
Installing and Retailing Solar Photovoltic, Hot Water and Pool Systems.
PHOTOVOLTAICS
State of Washington:
Net Metering System incentives are as follows:
.15/ kwh production on Renewable Energy Systems
+.03/kwh production on an Inverter that is Manufactured in Washington State
+.36/kwh production on a PV Module Manufactured in WA State (Not Yet!!)
Typical installation Costs are between $8.00 to $10.00/watt Installed
A typical 3 kw system would cost $24,000 to $30,000.00 Installed by a qualified Professional
In the area West of the Cascades the Sun Hours are 3.5 meaning a 3 kw system would generate 10.5 kwh/day
There is still a Federal Tax Credit of 30% up to a Maximum of $2,000.00
CLARK COUNTY
Clark County PUD has a $10,000.00 loan program at 5% see http://www.clarkpublicutilities.com/Residential/solarPrograms/photovoltaicLoan
Clark County PUD has a Interconnection agreement at http://www.clarkpublicutilities.com/Residential/AboutUs/ourPowerSupply/netMetering
FIRST STEP
1. Site Assessment - ACT on Solar uses the Solar Pathfinder.
We would be happy to get a SunChart made to determine your Solar Availablity
Keep in Mind, PVs need to be in direct SunLight ALL DAY LONG in order for them to be efficient (Nothing urks me more than losing power because of shading :()
SECOND STEP
THRID STEP
Let installer install
FOURTH STEP
Have PUD Inspect System/ Interconnection
FIFTH STEP
Enjoy your Renewable Energy !!
